Just Gotta Skate

Just Gotta Skate
Mississauga, ON, November 11, 2007 – Josh Giles of the Cruisers hockey team for physically disabled individuals participates in some hockey action before the rest of the public took to the ice in the "Just Gotta Skate" event at the Iceland arena. The event was held in memory of Donna Lee Zampieron who was a head skating instructor who suffered from Crohn’s disease, ultimately leading to depression and eventualy suicide. In the last days of her life, nothing livened up her day as much as just going to the ice and skating. Photo by Daniel Ho.
